Jas and I went PS to watch the exclusive 2.10pm slot for "Millions". We were quite late, reaching on the dot...haha...didn't have lunch so we went to buy some snacks before getting the tickets...when we went in the theatre i was so surprised there were quite few people...but glad that we did not miss the start...it was really a great movie with great meaning...it tells of a boy named Damian who has miraculously received a bag of millions of pounds...and how he and his brother anthony dealed with this gift from god(well, they thought it was sent form the heavens)...but in between showed Damian's kindness towards the less fortunate...he is a very kind boy who wishes to help poor people with this unexpected gift...he also talks to saints...that part was very funny..he always recite their names and the period of their "saintship"...but he actually just wishes to see his mum again (his mum passed away)...the moral of the story is to tell us sometimes money is not everything...its true we can buy a lot of things that we like and wanted..but you cant buy love or kindness with it...its the little boy's innocence and kind heart that touched me greatly...=)
After the movie, we went to shop around PS...and bought a pair of badly needed shoes...and a Mother's Day gift for mummy!..hee(haven splurged in awhile) =p then we headed home.
After dinner, Jas and I joined Dad in a little supermarket shopping..haha...at Shop n Save...we bought alot of fruits and yogurt and my fave heaven n earth green tea yums..i find that we seldom get to spend time alone with dad...sadly...but this little time spent was really nice and happy =).I really hope we can find time to spend with our family more and cherish these special moments together.
