Jas and I went PS to watch the exclusive 2.10pm slot for "Millions". We were quite late, reaching on the dot...haha...didn't have lunch so we went to buy some snacks before getting the tickets...when we went in the theatre i was so surprised there were quite few people...but glad that we did not miss the start...it was really a great movie with great meaning...it tells of a boy named Damian who has miraculously received a bag of millions of pounds...and how he and his brother anthony dealed with this gift from god(well, they thought it was sent form the heavens)...but in between showed Damian's kindness towards the less fortunate...he is a very kind boy who wishes to help poor people with this unexpected gift...he also talks to saints...that part was very funny..he always recite their names and the period of their "saintship"...but he actually just wishes to see his mum again (his mum passed away)...the moral of the story is to tell us sometimes money is not everything...its true we can buy a lot of things that we like and wanted..but you cant buy love or kindness with it...its the little boy's innocence and kind heart that touched me greatly...=)

After the movie, we went to shop around PS...and bought a pair of badly needed shoes...and a Mother's Day gift for mummy!..hee(haven splurged in awhile) =p then we headed home.
After dinner, Jas and I joined Dad in a little supermarket shopping..haha...at Shop n Save...we bought alot of fruits and yogurt and my fave heaven n earth green tea yums..i find that we seldom get to spend time alone with dad...sadly...but this little time spent was really nice and happy =).I really hope we can find time to spend with our family more and cherish these special moments together.

today is my cousin's Randall's 6th birthday. Happy B'day to You!!! hee
My Fourth Aunt and Uncle organised a birthday party for him at their house.Mum went to Grandma's house first because she went to play mahjong with the rest first. Dad,Jas and I went much later around evening. When we reached, alot of the family members were there already.
Randall greeted us with McDonald's party hats..hahhaa...it was so funny...Fourth Aunt and Uncle were already busy preparing the food in the kitchen...we were having Steamboat?! hee..cos the weather was quite warm...soon after many others arrived...Randall's paternal side's family also came...it was really a fun and endearing sight as you can see family helping one another and getting along well, enjoying themselves...it was nice to talk to JJ and Bernie they all cos we seldom get to see them...JJ is getting taller and tanner which is good...hee so happy for him...i just feel that its always nice for family to meet up often to be concerned about one another's life...just to feel part of it....=) this is the way to stay close-knitted.
we took turns to eat and after that finally its time to cut the cake..and picture taking session...hee...later for entertainment purposes...Randall and Ryan put the BSB's Karaoke DVD on and started singing their lungs out...hahaaa..so cute...and accompanied with some actions as well....oya, forgot to mention Jiu Jiu returned from Japan...hee...and brought along pressies...heee we got nice nice japanese cakes yums..
after long we went home...but alot did complained that its not really suitable to have steamboat...but i guess they are just trying to be different from normal catering stuff...=)

in conclusion: i finished reading Nicholas Sparks's "Three Weeks with My Brother" this afternoon and what struck me most is how close Nic and His bro Micah is after so much they have been through...they lost their parents and their little sis Dana and this brought them so much closer and you can see hopw much they loved and cared for one another....therefore we must really love and care for our family and friends, our loved ones no matter what happens...as they are the most important.

heyz...haven write in awhile...
my head seemed to be filled with alot of thoughts today...you just cant stop thinking about stuff...about yourself, your loved ones like family and friends, your future...
i have always counted myself very fortunate...i have a family who loves me...i have the means to study and play(mum and dad worked really hard to support us =))...all those things that i have...some people do not even get to possess them at all or do not have some of these things...i always tell myself i must really cherish what i have because nothing is forever...juz one second or a minute can change everything...all these may be gone...so we must cherish whatever we have...and be contented with what you have =) as what mr ang said that day "zhi zhu chang le" i always believed in that.
i remember christine mentioned in my autograph book that if a person has 5 true friends in his or her life...there should be no regrets then...i began to count..hahaa...guess how many i have...=) i just think its not the number that is important...its how friends stay with you and continue to befriend u...as people come and go...those who stay are those who are true isn't it?
these few days...something keeps bugging me...this thought keeps appearing in my head..."what if i never receive the admission letters from the 3 unis?"...what should i do?...but at least i have the last option...although i think i want to get the admission letters from the 3 other unis much more...hee but as the saying goes...chuan dao qiao tou zi ran zhi...hope everything turns out fine though...
hmm....so my conclusion for today...to lead my happy simple life and everything will be just fine! hahaaa...n don't worry too much...=)

JZ's bdae outing

Went K-box with Jz, Dan n Kr todae....Chris was supposed to join us too for Karaoke but she had to help her fren with doing accounts...(she had to go back first also because of her fren).Actually we planned to meet at 3.30pm at somerset mrt..but everyone was late..hai...i reached first(but also late hee) so i waited for the rest...Kr n dan reached soon after so we went to check out partyworld..but cos it looked scary (alot of smoke), we decided to go K-box...=)
haha..it was fun to go with they all...hee dan sings the best among the three and did good impersonation of jay chou...we kinda took turns to sing...it was nice..we took some pics as well...=)
after that chris came but din wan to leave first so chris had to wait outside for about half an hour...(sorry,chris!) Mc joined us not long after we went to get dinner at Cine's foodcourt after much choosing..hahaa
after that we went take pics cos chris had to leave le... sad
hahaa...ltr Kr suggested we go to the roof garden of Paragon to take pics...after much hassle and wrong turns we still couldnt find the way to go up...so we went ard...hahaaa....whats most amusing is that Mc started the topic on how guys like girls stuff....came to the topic on Kr liking Yx..but he was like denying it and kept saying he likes Mc...with a V sincere look...i could have believed him...for real hahaa...
it was really fun spending time with them...=) but still have to go our separate ways...sad..

conclusion: we have to follow our hearts when it comes to relationships..or do u have follow ur head too?i believe that feelings develop over time spent with each other...not such as love at first sight...but these things do happen and u wil juz have to follow ur heart =) when this happens

nice day spent

today i met up with Shi ni and Joanna for lunch....it has been ages since we last met up..especially Shini..think we haven't seen each other for like almost 2 years!...it was quite strange at first...but since we did not see each other for so long we have quite some stuff to chat about...=)
Shini and i reached first cos Joanna forgot to bring jas n my present and she went back to take it...after she arrived we went Pasta cafe at Taka...it was nice...i ate chicken lasagne,Shini ate Caesar salad,Joan ate spagetti....It felt abit weird cos Joanna and Shini are much more closer to each other as they saw each other more often but they tried their best to include me...=)
after eating lunch we went to shop around...it was really quite fun...but somehow you can sense there's still some gap or unfamiliarity between us...but i guess its unavoidable as i always believed that distance does widen a friendship.
But no matter what i feel that its a step of building our friendship to a higher level...to become close frens again like before...

After that, i went to meet Jas to go for the New Zealand Ice-Cream interview...there were already alot of ppl there...the supervisor was very humorous and told us about the requirements of the job...it was interesting and i think we can learn alot of things from this..=) but the pay is qt little...haha...but whats most important is the process of learning...heee

in conclusion: distance does make ppl grow apart...but its the effort that makes it worthy to bring ppl closer...

my first post!

this is my first post in this brand-new blog! hee
actually i wanted to write yesterday but was tired from my trip to pulau tekong...
Yiling, Fuhai & Me went to send Andy off...accompanied him there actually cos his parents not attending...=)
We met up for lunch at Ajisen at TM...had a fufiling and satisfying meal...hee...Fuhai's so-called ' The Last Supper" for Andy..hahaa
After that we went to the waiting area for bus to take us to the pier...
what we didnt realise was that we were the last to reach..while we were still thinking we were the first to reach..hah
anyway we managed to get to tekong...whew..by a small speedboat thingy...so cool..
we three were then separated from andy and the usher took us for a tour around the BMT school..We had real fun...nice time hanging out with them...=)

after that we went to attend the swearing ceremony when boys become men...its really a once in lifetime experience...glad we went..
after that we went to lunch at the canteen...not long after we have to bid andy goodbye..
it was really sad...like all waiting for the other to leave first...hah..

my conclusion: in some point in life there are many times you need to say goodbye...just ensure that the time u had together was worthwhile and treasured in the days to come...
