my first baking experience =)

haha actually started quite late cos had always wanted to learn baking but i dont have a oven =(

but finally got a chance to do that hehe with yp n lp!! =)
our plans were to bake a marble chocolate cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies!
but...

our cake failed cos the cheese we bought was the wrong kind =p
the base was so perfect haiz.
but though we were upset,we decided to not fail in the attempt for the cookies.
hee had a total of 3 batches, first batch was burnt =/ but 2nd was better but still too brown, final batch was great =) golden brown small round choc chip cookies!!its v nice! hehe at least for a first timer.
so at least our effort was not wasted, i learnt alot through this session, bake for 15mins with gas 6 and if its soft after baking it will turn harder n crispier with cooling =)
too bad my heart shape cookies din turn out heart-shaped hahaaa
but was a great day spent with lp n yp,showed them some of my childhood pics, had a nice packed lunch together at yp's home,went ingredients shopping together,work n bake tog,sang tog with them,talked about the past tog...

i miss my friends, its been a long time since we catch up.

i miss having time of my own, to just go out for a walk and take in the sights n sounds.

but as time flies by, I will be able to do all that le =)

long hours of revision classes.
disappointing mock exams results.

the bday boy n me 'celebrating my bday too!'

had a great night out with mum dad n min last nite=)

went to mouth kitchen for dinner cos mum wanted to give us a belated bday treat,its been a long time since dad bring us out on a ride out tog in the old rackety car hehe but it felt good to be with them enjoying our dinner together as a family.half way through the dinner, mum commented,'yi jia ren zai yi qi chi fan duo hao ah' i smiled back =)
thanks for the precious family time we have,brought back alot of nice memories when we were younger.dad will drive us to places,kite flying,shopping,nice restaurants,parks...

we hardly say out loud on how we feel about each other but we know deep down we care for each other very much.

thanks mum n dad! (i know they wont read this but it feels good to write this down)
