Merry Xmas to all!

met up with the excos today for our xmas outing.
but only 4 of us turned up,mc andy bailey n me.
mc n i were really late,the guys had reached first,we went settlers cafe at holland v,its was really crowded,all by reservations i think.luckily mc had made reservations already =)we ordered the set lunch package for 4 and the mushroom soup is really nice =) and we get 2 hours free gaming time.we played the settlers board game,and played only that haha cos it took a long time to finish.its a strategy game,not really good with games like that =p but it was quite fun la.its been a long time since we last met up but was glad at least we made the effort to meet even after we stepped down =) hope the rest can join us next time

I attended the movie screening with min at prince 1 on wed nite and the threatre was huge,at least hundreds of seats.and i felt kinda excited as we get to watch it first before it opens on 28th.I was kinda looking forward to this movie cos i like tony leung and takeshi in their movies infernal affairs and perhaps love respectively.it was free seating so we took a centre area seats hoping to get a better view =) and i would say after watching the movie,it was really satisfying,as in you get a "settled" feeling that you enjoyed the movie.=) the story is about these 2 guys,Xi(tony leung) and Bang (takeshi) and how they live with their pain.Xi is a cop while Bang is a private investigator.actually the movie started with both of them are partners in the police force,but after Bang's gf committed suicide,he left the force and became a PI and an alcoholic.3 years down,Xi is married with susan and suddenly one day susan's family was murdered and their killers ended up dead too and Bang is roped in by susan to help with the investigations.the special thing about this movie is that they tell us the killer when the incident happened and showed us how he was found out.as the story develop,they discover things were not as simple as it was made out to be and it was really great to see how the answers were slowly revealed =) and i specially like chapman to's character,he's such a funny man,making the whole movie lighten up with laughter rather than all suspense n thrills only.personally, i will give this movie 4.5 popcorns out of 5.its highly recommended!! =)

i like this line Bang said in the movie to Xi when Xi told him that he has changed,i cant rem the exact words but roughly in my own words "i always thought i can change the world,so i kept working towards it,trying my best to bring justice without caring about other things which are more important to me,and yet the world didnt change,but i did"

had the first christmas celebration this year today.
haha eight of us,kelly chia,ching,yj,magdalene,angeline,emeris n joyce n me planned our xmas gift exchange cum dinner =)yj,ching n i went over to marina sq to shop first while waiting for them to meet us after their afternoon class.took this long bus ride that made us sleepy thus we dropped at milenia walk n had lunch at long johns.after that,went to candy empire n got some lollies for the girls.hee after that we went shopping ard cos ching wanted to get cny clothes.went to get seats at mac at marina sq while we sipped fluffy (steamed milk with marshmallows)while yj made reservations for the dinner at new york new york.then we joined the rest when its almost 6pm at nyny.8 of us paired into 4 pairs and shared food with our pair heh.before the food came,we distributed the small pressies and took pics.halfway thru the dinner kelly c sugg the exchange of present for our secret pals.before today,we had drew lots for our secret pal and cant let others know and we had to buy a present for our secret pal.haa then she sugg we have to use 3 adjectives to decribe her and the rest will point to who they think is.haha and furthermore tk the picture with the giver to the receiver =p so funny la.but its fun =) my secret pal is ching and i got her a bracelet from diva! hee mag's secret pal is me and she gave a pretty bag from bangkok =) thanks girl!after dinner we went to esplanade cos they sugg gog to harry's bar but theres no band so we walked over to clarke quay (a looong walk,my feet hurt =p)then ltr yj kelly c n i went back first cos were so tired while the rest went for icecream.it was a fun celebration and thanks for the pressies! =) esp the cookies that kelly c took all nite to bake =))

met bec,vio,yan to buy cheryl's pres after my work.haiz today worked till 3.30pm then left cos gotta help out with the revamping of the centre.got to start on new job duty at work today with the preschoolers.it was quite ok but cos it was not peak period time so not so busy,at most have to handle two kids at the same time.but one of the kids was really hard to handle.he keeps talking and talking.cant stop him,almost lose my patience cos he took so much time to do his work.after work went to meet the girls and got cheryl a bag and a small cake from bakerzin.then we met her for dinner at pepper lunch,it was yummy =) and we walked along the streets saw the xmas lightings.after that cheryl went off earlier while the rest of us went to tcc for drinks.

so tired but got mkting test next wk gotta study,wish i have hols but nope =(

met up with yp n lp after so long heh cos they are having their hols now.
we went to do our favourite group activity together--->k-geing!
hahaa went to meet them for lunch after my class at near centrepoint there before going to cine's kbox.we sang from 2plus to 6pm cos we took the student plan,but cos they having the buffet package from 6 onwards so the our package was only 3 hours =( heh but we had enough for singing then we went to far east to walk ard and lp introduced this sausage and mashed potato snack from chippy.yums yums =) gotta eat it again! =) hee though the time spent was short,but really had fun with them them,always nice to see them =) hope can meet up again soon.jia you girls!
