haven met up with them for quite some time, updates and all.it seemed so far away when we were back in pri school. haha knowing each other since pri sch, it had been so many great years. =) haa and talking about holy high made me missed the times back then. those people the places and the events that took place.

hope that we all can achieve what we want.
although sometimes we dont know, but i believe with time it will be become clear.

Happy Belated Birthday Shar! =)

Met up with the sim clique for dinner at waraku at ms to celebrate shar's bday. Hah it was table 11 again, it was my second time there and still sat the same table. =p wz n i reached first before sean joined us.then shar n ian arrived, followed by hm n mavis. It has been ages since we last met since exams period. so we talked about finding work and recent updates.i miss school a little, when we used to get to chat during lunches and breaks and it felt so slack back then hah. now we have to worry about finding jobs and our results which will be out in sept. really hope all of us can find work soon! =) shar was surprised by the cake that hm n mavis prepared =p hm brought his cam and began his pro photography shoots with his semi pro assistant mavis =p haha nice to have all of them around cos the table will always be filled with laughter. glad that shar likes her present! =)

Happy Convocation sis! =)

Went with my parents to attend min's graduation ceremony at ntu today. Saw some of my ex-classmates from sec sch and felt really happy for them. Its really a happy moment looking at so many of the graduates' families all dressed up with flowers and gifts for their sons or daughters. Graduates in their gowns and caps smiling happily for pictures. Mum even teared at little at the end of the ceremony.Seeing sis on stage getting her cert from the pro-chancellor,I felt really happy for her. After so many years of education, it sort of marked the end to all that. While waiting for the ceremony to begin, watching the clip for the graduates, I felt really touched especially with song in the background. It felt like its the end and also at the same time, the beginning. goodbye and hello. To the end of the journey of education and beginning of the journey of one's career. I thought about how it will be like at my convocation. =)

What the valecdictorian said was really well, the friendships forged are one of the most important gains in his years in ntu and they should also thank the support of their loved ones. He asked the graduates to turn round to thank them. I felt that was really one touching moment.

sometimes,
people dont get to choose, they have to accept what they are given, although others who dont know simply do not understand the reasons behind.
and when they do, they understand these are the real reasons he has to bear.
the responsiblity of the one, all of them look towards him, hoping he can be the one.nobody would really want to take up the role, because it is really too heavy a responsiblity. although he does not mind, which i really admire his courage and his love for her, i feel sad for him and helpless that i can only be a bystander. i know the others who look towards him feel bad inside but they simply cant do anything to help as they have their own responsiblities.
I did not understand before, but now I do.
and now i will be there.

din get to celeb joyce's bday cos we were in tw at that time, so had dinner with her yesterday with the sim girls at soup restaurant. The food was really good, love the winter melon soup! =p




i get this feeling sometimes,
imagine people in a race, people keep running faster and faster, getting further and further, away from me, while i still stay in the same place, at the starting line.

its the way we look at things, isn't it? which angle that gives the best view. the one that you see as the right one in your view may not be someone else's.
and someone else's right one may not be yours.

and looking at those photos that day, made that feeling come again. people change, physically and mentally. sometimes its scary, sometimes its for the better, but there's nothing much that we can do.

Taiwan Trip

went on my tw trip with em,mag,ching and yijun on 25thjune and back on 1stjuly!
overall, it had been a rather fun trip, one that got me feeling recharged =)
we went only two places, taipei and kaohsiung and experienced both sides of their culture.we started with taipei, with four days there and the remaining two and half days were at kaohsiung where we stayed with ching's cousin at his hostel.and i found my chinese getting better and better each day =p
at taipei we stayed at royal castle, and their service were really quite good.we went to jioufen and walked their street shops,wu fen pu to shop,xin dian(nei dong)for waterfalls and mountains,shihlin night market for street snacks and shopping, dan shui(fisherman's wharf)for their beautiful night view and ximending for the crowds, at kaohsiung we went dream mall and saw xiao zhu and rode the hello kitty ferris wheel,xin jue jiang for shopping and food, ci jin for the boat ride and beautiful beach and sunset, xi zi wan for the night view and wonderful shell ice (yums)=)
it had been quite a nice trip although we missed out some attractions like kenting =p but i got to sit on the scooter and tour kaohsiung streets =)
i will definitely miss my time there and will like to visit taiwan someday again, cos it felt like such an escapade from sing.
