Waking up I see that everything is ok
The first time in my life and now it's so great
Slowing down I look around and I am so amazed
I think about the little things that make life great
I wouldn't change a thing about it
This is the best feeling
This innocence is brilliance
I hope that it will stay
This moment is perfect
Please don't go away
I need you now
And I'll hold on to it
Don't you let it pass you by
I found a place so safe, not a single tear
The first time in my life and now it's so clear
Feel calm, I belong, I'm so happy here
It's so strong and now I let myself be sincere
I wouldn't change a thing about it
This is the best feeling
It's a state of bliss, you think you're dreaming
It's the happiness inside that you're feeling
It's so beautiful it makes you wanna cry
It's a state of bliss, you think you're dreaming
It's the happiness inside that you're feeling
It's so beautiful it makes you wanna cry
It's so beautiful it makes you wanna cry
This innocence is brilliance
Makes you wanna cry
This innocence is brilliance
Please don't go away
Cus I need you now
And I'll hold on to it
Don't you let it pass you by
I heart Innocence by Avril Lavigne
I was very moved by Life transformers 2's last episode for this season.
It was about this 80+ year old ah po, who wants to care for her 2 mentally disabled children till the time she has leave this world.
She herself has skin cancer, and saves fresh food for her children while she eats food kept in the fridge up to more than a month. She reads the chinese newspaper everyday with a magnifying class and due to having little education, she checks her 40plus year old dictionary for words she doesnt know. She keeps herself up to date about the world and keeps learning even at such an old age. She lives up to the quote. She admires Mr Lee Kuan Yew and has his biography which she treasures alot, she said that he had helped all the Singaporeans so they can stay in such a good environment now and is very grateful to him. After the volunteers cleaned and tidied up the place, ah po looked very happy. They even sent her for check ups, hopefully can treat her skin cancer.
I really hope she will get better and healthier, and her children will help her and care for her the way she cares for them.
When you live your life for others, it is truly giving your life for theirs. It is really a great and noble act.
Bless her and her family.
