had our og 12 outing last nite...it was quite strange la cos we all know one another for a day only (on orientation day) haaa..but jason n chin hsiang organised this outing so we can get to know one another better.i met chunmin go taka first cos she wanted to buy stuff b4 meeting them at ps.but we were early lo so we went up to level 6 manhattan fish market to wait for them with bertina and kelly white.The place looks quite cool and its alredy packed.we waited for the rest to come.then went inside tog.haha..its was kinda quiet at first den some started talking abt the src camp which i din go.sad.it sounded really fun =p den we had our dinner.most of us(the less adventurous ones)ordered the same hahaa..fish n chips..it was real huge lo..hee..but not bad =p after dinner we went to sit at starbucks to talk b4 decidin what to do next.finally settled on gog k-box but the package was form 11-3am which was kinda ex..in the end din go so we settled on "hui2 jia1" haa..got a ride from bertina home..so gd lo..she's the only girl who drives..so cool =)
on the whole it was really not bad just hope we cont to stay in contact after sch starts next week =p

supposed to go for src camp..but was sick so decided to stay hm..

went out with cheryl n shuhui...haven met up with them for quite some time esp shuhui hahaa...since we graduated from sec sch..=p
anw,we went shopping at far east...kinda hard to believe that we spent all our time there from 12-5pm..haa..what exactly took us so long? but got 2 tops n a belt..
it was quite fun =)

supposed to go zoo with ariel but cos she had to do the fass bidding thingy.went out with yuenshin n wanhua to orchard.haha..it felt really nice to meet up with them cos we had been trying to plan a class outing but to no avail cos everyone's just too busy with their own stuff.went walk walk and chatted alot.finally stopped at coffeebean for drinks.got myself a caramel ice blended n both of them had mocha ones.so satisfying hee..we chose a cosy corner though stil prefer the one we sat for exco outing =p but on the whole updated one another and it was just nice sipping our drinks and chatting and laughing..missed those times =)
finally time to go home but we planned on gog wanhua's house for sleepover somedae.hee
starting sch next week.nerves.kinda scared yet excited.but life goes on.=)

-sim tennis camp 19-21jul-

met up with chunmin at amk to tk bus to pasir ris cos its held at aloha loyang.i was late but when we reached the ogls are not there yet.anw,after that elaine and jinghui joined us.but i was not in the same og as them,mine was gamma.my ogls were liping n wilson.after that we were placed in different bungalows in different rooms.it was quite fun on the first day as we had alot of ice-breakers games and the amazing race at nite where our og came in 2nd.glecy,my pri sch mate was in the same group as me.the next day we had tennis training and the coach catergorised us into groups.i was in the group a (no ball sense group hahaa).it was quite fun lo =)
after training we(JH,CM,SM,Mag(shancai) n joyce )went swimming as we had lots of free time while the other groups were playing.the others joined us ltr.we played with the slide and soaked in the jacuzzi.after that we went back for tennis rackets demo.quite fun watching ppl play =p after that we went to the pool again.this time most of them joined even the ogls.this time very cham cos was badly sunburnt =(
den we went back to the chalet for the bbq.den played games again till quite late.den i moved over to the other bungalow to join elaine they all to talk and munch on tidbits.last day we packed our stuff and had our breakfast b4 gog back.
overall:really quite fun though tiring and burnt =p
next wk got src camp dunno whet shd go anots...til then

mum n dad sent min to her hostel..at hall 15..really not bad lo..spacious and quiet =p but lots of mosquitoes haa..feels kinda sad min have to stay at hall cos quite used to sharing our room together lo..feels kinda weird without her.but i guess i will have to learn to be independent for now rite.sure i can do it de.=)
muz spent more time with my parents lo and hope min comes back often though sch starting real soon.
actually it feels scary to know that sch is starting in 2 weeks time.muz get back to the routine of going sch and studying again.hope wont be that stressful yet.haa..
anw just getting some back to sch nerves.wil be alright soon de.=)

1st 3 mths group outing..haa..not class outing cos only the usual six of us..
met at 7.30pm cos we wanted to catch the fireworks display for the NE show last night.the four of us,dan,kr,jz n me went over to esplanade rooftop first.there were already alot of ppl there.not long after we viewed the fireworks display (it was really beautiful *wistful*)
we went to suntec to meet chris n her frens ivan n tidus.we decided to go soup restaurant for dinner and its already 9plus famished lo =p
mc met us there after we had placed our order.the food there was not bad =p
love the beggar's tofu.anw,after that the mood of the group became really down.everybody like wan to just go home..haiz.we then sugg go tk some pics before returning home so we went to an art display of a bronze ring..haa and took pics there.somehow the bad mood still hung in the hair making the situation quite tensed.we then went over to marina cos some of them wanted to buy some drinks..somehow it all became quite fiery lo.ppl started complaining and confronting.it like making the whole outing seems to have a unhappy end to it.
I just think that its rare and nan de of us to get together and is it really that difficult to keep everyone happy? i don't know.
after that we went home.
i just hope further outings can be free of all these unhappiness and misgivings.

the 18th lib investiture todae

wow.it really brought back loads of memories,nice time spent with the exco =)
the girls met up since last exco outing (without sal)bay suppose to meet up after he book out but he fell asleep,andy's book out on sat.
but still was nice meeting the girls cos haven seen jollie since dunno when.haha
anw,jol n i reached first so we went to the LT 1 first.they were already rehearsing.just rem how we also rehearsed and prepared last year for our invest.really nice to think back =) zhiyang n syairah went also.quite surprised the 15th exco will turn up.anw,their invest was not bad.nothing went wrong.just quite funny seeing the whole thing as an audience when just last yr we were the ones up there.time flies.really glad that lib had given me so many wonderful memories that i will cherish al my life and hope the frenships will last.really enjoyed their company so much.after the invest,the girls went j8 for dinner at mos.haha.spent more time talking then eating.talk abt the usual stuff about our future,love and relationships,the times we had together.somehow we will nv run out of things to say =)

orientation dae

uol orientation today

for the first time since i ended work,i woke up early at 6.45am!!!hahaa.cos its my orientation day at sim.Its actually held at the ngee ann poly's sports complex.Though i left home at 7.30am...i was still late!!!reached only around 8.45 and it started at 8.30...and i only found the SPORTs compLex at almost 9!!!hahaa..thought it would be a bad start to my day but it turned just fine..even better than fine.It was fun =)
All those late comers formed the last group (OG12),led by ogl weijiang..really funny guy =p there were 20ppl in the group and we started off with icebreakers.Many from SR,some from other jcs & polys.
station games followed:first game subdivided into group 1 & 2..needed teamwork and cooperation see which group faster in finding the things they wan us to find.2nd game:formed a big circle and pass the baton by saying things related to a certain them eg movies 3rd game:pass the rubber bands using toothpicks held by ur mouth..so funny lo..2 guys beside me were all so tall and i so short but glad our team won or else have to do the banana dance forfeit =p
4th game:groups of 5 to move ard diagonally with different kinds of movement.our group were the last 2 times so we had to do the forfeit haha shake our body sides back and front...hilarious den next game were wacko though played countless times before already but was still fun
last game was dog n bone...quite fun la...
den we proceeded to take a break and den indoor games den lunch...made some new frens lo =)
after the talks by cca heads, we went to the booths at SIM to sign up for some camps.signed up for SRC camp and tennis camp.the SRC camp was so popular that we had to be put on waiting list =( hope we can get places there.
on the whole, had quite a enjoyable and fun time there..heee =)

Accompanied Chris back to school to collect her cert.After collecting,we went around the school.It was nice to be back after some time and you can see there are some changes made already.There is actually a cafe at outside LT 5!!!!called 'first love' hahaa..chris and I were kinda shocked.The cafe sells a lot of stuff.Must go back and try the food there next fri when we going back to attend the invest =)
We headed to heartland mall for a walk before parting ways cos chris need to go for an interview.I just felt that it was nice just spending time with chris,chatting and laughing like when we were back in jc. Although we were in different classes for the 2years and seldom get to spend time with her,at least we were in the same cca!hee still can remember the times we need to travel to superbowl at kovan and practise our bowling =p with yuling also..missed those times spent when we can talk and learn together,point out each other's mistakes and make improvements.will always treasure these memories =)

min and i made dinner for our family!!!haha,its the first time we prepared a meal for them.Although we have cooked before,but its the first time we cook a 2 dishes and 1 soup with rice for mum and dad.It was quite messy at first but we got it under control. =)Made a stir-fried cabbage with carrots,fishball and veggs soup and stir-fried chicken and celery. Not very famous dishes, just simple.hee..at least mum said the soup was nice.Min and I were quite pleased with our results though improvements must still be made =)

Min and I went shopping at suntec and the renovating marina square.marina sq changed alot and is still under contruction.its like its given a whole facelift and becoming more hip.still rem papa used to bring us there to the amusement park there called magicland..hahaa..childhood memories..how nice..=)
we had our lunch first cos we were so famished =p
after that we went shopping for stuff and bought joanna's pressie.her bday coming le..v nice!! like it lots.a pink tote!! hope she will like it.
there were alot of army ppl there cos they having ndp rehearsal and alot of security and police were patrolling at the shopping malls and cityhall station.Security has been increased since the london blasts.haiz.so cruel of the bombers.hope the terrorists are caught soon.When we took the train home,I can feel the tension in the air,its like you can grasp the feeling of fear of actual terrorist attacks that may happen anywhere.so must really cherish what we have now.

a little on the down side.
not really sure why.
but i think moods swings does happen to me sometimes no matter how hard i try to stay happy.
but now it has passed.whew.haha.
I just feel that time passes really fast and half of the year is over already.JULY now.how fast time passes right? its seems just quite sometime ago when i started work at kino then there was prom and christmas.2 months plus stint at rzb,cny.. then results day,then my last day at work,then came uni applications and admissions and rejections,my appeals,joined spca,my short interview at the ice-cream shop...what else..learning swimming..and now its almost time for school.
time passes really fast that you 'almost' never notice...=p
just doing some sum up for the year.hope the later part of it will be just as exciting.haaa
